About Ragdoll cats

The Ragdoll cat breed is an affectionate feline to share your homelife with. While sociable with guests and curious by nature, there is nothing this breed likes doing more than playing and receiving cuddles. Who would blame them? They have beautiful coats with distinctive markings and are a cat breed known for getting along with children. You might often find a Ragdoll curled up on your lap or watching you garden from afar. But one thing is for sure, they won’t be doing anything strenuous!

The health benefits Ragdolls can see when fed fresh cat food daily include:
Effective weight management

Ragdolls are obligate carnivores, meaning they receive their nutrients from meat. Yet traditional cat food uses poor quality meat, which is cooked at high temperatures to last on a shelf for months, even years. This needs to change. KatKin provides fresh cat food that uses 100% fresh-cooked premium meat, formulated by our in-house vets and animal nutritionists. But don’t just take our word for it. Ragdoll cat FAQs

Ideally, your Ragdolls total daily feeding amount should be split between 3 - 4 meals. Keeping that in mind, we perfectly portion your Ragdoll kitten’s food into pouches. One pouch is a daily serving, filled with all the nutrients your kitten needs.
One pouch of KatKin fresh cat food contains all the food your Ragdoll cat needs for an entire day. This is because we tailor the pouch to your cat based on their age, weight, activity levels and body type. Inside our vet-formulated recipes are the exact daily calorie and nutrient needs your Ragdoll requires, making feeding easier.
No, Ragdoll cats are not hypoallergenic. There is not a breed which is considered 100% hypoallergenic. Although they are a very cuddly companion, their fur can be left behind wherever they lay. Allergies can also be formed from a Ragdoll’s skin, in the form of dander, which can trigger an allergic reaction.
It is not recommended that Ragdolls go outside without supervision. When left to roam in the outdoors, Ragdolls can become disoriented and easily lost, forgetting where they are and struggling to find their way home. Not a good combination if you live near a main road. It is best to keep them snuggled in the house where you know they will be safe.
Ragdolls can have distinct markings which allow you to identify the breed. Although, they are born completely white and these markings slowly develop as they reach adulthood. Known as a ‘pointed breed’, Ragdoll cats traditionally have a pale body with darker markings on their face, ears, tail or legs.
